ONE OF THE 75 MOST
SIGNIFICANT 32' FORDS OF ALL TIME!
1932
Roadster (page 1 of 2) Owner:
Bob Rothenberg
In 1993 well known St. Louisan Rodder Bob Rothenberg commissioned us to build a 100% top of
the line deuce roadster. This car would have what it takes to
be legendary. As a young man Bob used to hang around the drag
racing and rodding scene that Jack was involved in in the 50's.
So you could say that we've known Bob for a long time.
The time and attention to detail would be on a scale that is seldom
attempted.
As time would tell its impressive appearance, craftsmanship, and
subtle mix of original and modern components would grab the
attention of the hot rod community.
In 1997 this car won its class at the Oakland Roadster show . In 1998 Goodguys bestowed Bobs
beautiful full fendered 32' roadster with the Street Rod of the Year
award. It also earned the Street Rodder Magazine
top 10 award. More Recently in 2006 we have learned that this 32 has been
named by a panel of Rodding's finest as one of the 75 most
influential 1932 fords of all time in Ford's celebration of the 75th
anniversary of the Deuce.
Bob's 32' had a lot of original 1932 iron on it. Dan Fink worked his magic replacing some of the skin
in the areas where the original body was too far gone.
Our Dad's big guns and huge hands kept us in line when we were kids.
An unbelievable amount of time was spent on every inch of this car. Each part no matter how small or hidden was
painted and polished to perfection.
